English Simpal Recipes

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)

  • ½ cup mango pulp (fresh or canned)

  • ⅓ cup oil or melted butter

  • ¼ cup yogurt (curd)

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)

  • Pinch of salt

For Garnish (optional):

  • Mango slices or chunks

  • Whipped cream

  • Chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios)


🥣 Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven:
    Preheat your oven 
    English Simpal Recipes to 180°C (350°F) for 10 minutes. Grease a cake tin and line with baking paper.

  2. Mix Dry Ingredients:
    In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Keep aside.

  3. Prepare Wet Mixture:
    In another bowl, whisk sugar, mango pulp, oil, yogurt, and vanilla essence until smooth.

  4. Combine Both:
    Slowly add the dry mixture into the wet mixture. Fold gently to make a smooth batter. Do not overmix.

  5. Bake:
    Pour the batter into the prepared tin and bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

  6. Cool & Serve:
    Let the cake cool

Tips:

  • You can also make this recipe eggless, as above – yogurt helps keep it moist.
