English Simpal Recipes

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 medium-sized English Simpal Recipes potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, minced
  • 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
  • Cooking oil

Instructions:

  1. Boil Eggs: Start by boiling the eggs until hard-boiled. Once done, peel them and keep aside.Hindi Simpal Recipes

  2. Fry Potatoes: Heat oil in a pan and fry the diced potatoes until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove them from the pan and set aside.

  3. Tempering: In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add minced garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Sauté until they turn golden brown and aromatic.

  4. Onion-Tomato Base: Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. Then, add chopped tomatoes along with turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook this mixture until the tomatoes are soft and oil starts separating from the masala.

  5. Cooking Eggs: Cut the boiled eggs into halves or quarters and gently add them to the pan, letting them simmer in the masala for a couple of minutes.

  6. Adding Potatoes: Add the fried potatoes to the pan and mix everything well, ensuring the masala coats the potatoes and eggs evenly.Marathi Simpale Recipes

  7. Simmer: Add a little water if needed to adjust the consistency of the curry. Cover the pan and let it simmer on low heat for about 5-7 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend together.

  8. Finishing Touch: Sprinkle garam masala powder and garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
