Egg Bonda Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 hard-boiled eggs
- 1 cup besan (gram flour)
- 2-3 tablespoons rice flour (optional, for extra crispiness)
- 1 teaspoon English Simpal Recipes ginger-garlic paste
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
- Salt to taste
- A few curry leaves, chopped
- Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- Water, as needed
- Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
Prepare Eggs:
- Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut each egg into halves.
Prepare Batter:
- In a mixing Hindi Simpal Recipes bowl, combine besan, rice flour (if using), ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chili, turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoetida, salt, chopped curry leaves, and coriander leaves.
- Gradually add water to make a thick batter. Ensure there are no lumps.
Coat Eggs:
- Dip each egg half into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated.
Fry Egg Bonda:
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
