Egg Bonda Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup besan (gram flour)
  • 2-3 tablespoons rice flour (optional, for extra crispiness)
  • 1 teaspoon English Simpal Recipes ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • A pinch of asafoetida (hing)
  • Salt to taste
  • A few curry leaves, chopped
  • Fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
  • Water, as needed
  • Oil for deep frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Eggs:

    • Peel the hard-boiled eggs and cut each egg into halves.
  2. Prepare Batter:

    • In a mixing Hindi Simpal Recipes bowl, combine besan, rice flour (if using), ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chili, turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoetida, salt, chopped curry leaves, and coriander leaves.
    • Gradually add water to make a thick batter. Ensure there are no lumps.

    • Dip each egg half into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated.
  4. Fry Egg Bonda:

    • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
