 English Simpal Recipes

Ingredients:

  • 4 boiled eggs, peeled and halved
  • 1 large English Simpal Recipes onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 2-3 green chilies, slit lengthwise
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • A few curry leaves
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Eggs: Boil the eggs, peel them, and cut each egg into halves. Keep aside.

  2. Make Curry Base:

    • Heat oil in a Hindi Simpal Recipe span over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
    • Add cumin seeds and curry leaves. Saute for a few seconds until fragrant.
    • Add chopped onions and green chilies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  3. Add Spices:

    • Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
    • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.
  4. Cook Tomatoes:

    • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and oil starts to separate from the masala.
  5. Simmer Curry:

  6. Add Eggs:

    • Gently add the boiled egg halves to the curry. Coat them with the gravy. Cover and simmer for 5-7 minutes on low heat to allow the flavors to meld.

    • Sprinkle garam masala powder and mix gently. Cook for another minute.
    • Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
