Seollangtang is a Korean soup made from beef and bones.
Materials:
Beef Bones (Bones): 1 Kg
Beef (brisket or shank): 500 g
Water: 4-5 liters
Garlic: 8-10 cloves (peeled)
Green onions: 4-5 (finely chopped)
Salt: As per taste
Pepper Powder: As per taste
Method:
Bone Preparation:
Rinse the beef bones. Soak them in cold water for 1-2 hours, changing the water occasionally.

To prepare the broth:
Place the clean bones and beef pieces in a large cooker.
Add 4-5 liters of water and let it boil.
Once it boils, reduce the heat and let the broth slowly simmer for 3-4 hours. Skim the foam from time to time.
When the broth is ready, take out the bones and pieces of beef.
Cut the beef into small pieces.

Add the beef pieces back into the broth.
Add chopped green onions, garlic and salt.
Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
Serving:
Serve Seollangtang hot.
Sprinkle chopped green onions and chilli powder on top.
Note:
This soup is usually white in color, flavored only with salt and pepper.
It is a traditional Korean dish, served with kimchi and other side dishes.
