English Simpal Recipes

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) lamb, cut English Simpal Recipes into cubes
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:

    • Cut the lamb into bite-sized cubes.
    • Finely chop the onion.
    • Mince the garlic.
    • Grate the ginger.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics:

    • Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat.
    • Add the Hindi Simpal Recipes chopped onion and sauté until it becomes translucent and starts to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
    • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the Spices:

    • Stir in the curry powder, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, and paprika. Cook the spices for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  4. Brown the Lamb:

    • Add the lamb Marathi Simpale Recipes cubes to the pot and stir well to coat them with the spices and aromatics.
    • Cook the lamb until it is browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add the Tomatoes and Coconut Milk:

    • Pour in the diced tomatoes (with their juice) and coconut milk.
    • Stir to combine all the ingredients well.
    • Season with salt to taste.
  6. Simmer the Curry:

    • Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low.
    • Cover the pot and let it simmer for about 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until the lamb is tender and the flavors have melded together.
    • Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and burning.
  7. Finish and Serve:

    • Once the lamb is tender and the curry has thickened, taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
    • Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.
    • Serve the lamb curry hot with rice or naan bread.
