English Simpal Recipes



 Ingredients:

  • 1 cup split yellow moong dal (husked and washed)
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon English Simpal Recipes ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil (for deep frying)




Instructions:

  • Soak the moong dal in water for about 2 hours. Then, drain the water.
  • In a mixing bowl, add the soaked moong dal, green chili, onion, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  • Transfer the mixture to a blender or food processor and grind it into a coarse paste without adding water. The mixture should be thick and grainy.
  • Heat oil in a deep fryingEnglish Simpal Recipespan or kadai over medium heat.
  • Take small portions of the moong dal mixture and drop them into the hot oil. Fry them until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the pakoras from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain excess oil on a kitchen towel.
  • Repeat the process with the remaining mixture.
  • Serve the Moong Dal Pakoras hot with chutney or ketchup.
  • Moong Dal Pakoras are perfect as a tea-time snack or as an appetizer. Enjoy them with a cup of hot tea or as a side dish with your meals.
