Rajma Cutlet




 
Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rajma (kidney beans), cooked and mashed
  • 1/2 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread crumbs for coating
  • Oil for shallow frying



Instructions:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed rajma, mashed potatoes, onions, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well to form a dough-like mixture.
  • Divide the mixture into small portions and shape them into cutlets or patties.
  • Roll each cutlet in bread crumbs, ensuring they are coated evenly.
  • Heat oil in a shallow pan over medium heat. Place the cutlets in the pan and shallow fry them until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  • Once cooked, remove the cutlets from the pan and drain them on a kitchen towel to remove any excess oil.
  • Serve the Rajma Cutlets hot with ketchup, chutney, or any dip of your choice.
