Potato Masala Puri


 



Ingredients:
  • Potatoes - 2 medium-sized, boiled and mashed
  • Onion - 1 medium-sized, finely chopped
  • Tomatoes - 2 medium-sized, finely chopped
  • Green chilies - 2, finely chopped
  • Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chili powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves - for garnishing



Instructions:

  • Heat oil in a pan and add ginger paste, garlic paste, and green chilies. Saute until fragrant.
  • Add finely chopped onions to the pan and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • Now, add the chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well and cook the spices until the oil separates.
  • Add the mashed potatoes to the pan and mix well with the spices. Cook for a few minutes on low heat, allowing the potatoes to absorb the flavors of the spices.
  • Season with salt according to taste and turn off the heat.
  • Garnish the Potato Masala with fresh coriander leaves.
