Ingredients:
- 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon peri peri seasoning
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, peri peri seasoning, and salt. Make sure the fries are evenly coated.
- Arrange the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
- Return the fries to the oven for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.
- Remove the fries from the oven and let them cool slightly. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for added freshness and garnish.
- Serve the Cheesy Peri Peri Fries immediately as a delicious appetizer or side dish. Enjoy them while they are still hot and gooey!
