Cheesy Peri Peri Fries


 



Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon peri peri seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)



Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • In a large bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, peri peri seasoning, and salt. Make sure the fries are evenly coated.
  • Arrange the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake the fries in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  • Return the fries to the oven for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and is bubbly.
  • Remove the fries from the oven and let them cool slightly. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley for added freshness and garnish.
  • Serve the Cheesy Peri Peri Fries immediately as a delicious appetizer or side dish. Enjoy them while they are still hot and gooey!
