Sesame Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably chilled or leftover rice)

- 2 tablespoons sesame oil

- 2 tablespoons soy sauce

- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

- 2 green onions, thinly sliced

- Salt, to taste

Instructions:

1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat.

2. Add sesame oil to the skillet and let it heat up for a minute.

3. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and break up any clumps using a spatula.

4. Stir-fry the rice for about 5 minutes, until it is heated through and starting to get slightly crispy.

5. Drizzle soy sauce over the rice and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, making sure the sauce is evenly distributed.

6. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle toasted sesame seeds over the rice. Toss to combine.

7. Taste the rice and add salt if needed, keeping in mind that soy sauce already adds some saltiness.

8. Garnish with sliced green onions.

9. Serve hot as a side dish or as a main course with your choice of protein and vegetables.
