Sesame Ke Ladoo Recipe

Sure! Here's a recipe for Sesame K Ladoo, a delicious Indian sweet made with sesame seeds. This recipe will make approximately 12-15 ladoos.

Ingredients:

- 1 cup sesame seeds

- 1 cup grated jaggery (or substitute with brown sugar)

- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)

- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (cashews, almonds, pistachios, etc.) - optional

Instructions:

1. Heat a pan on medium-low heat and dry roast the sesame seeds until they turn golden brown. Keep stirring continuously to prevent burning. This process will take around 5-6 minutes. Remove the roasted sesame seeds from the pan and let them cool.

2. In the same pan, add ghee and melt it on low heat. Once the ghee has melted, add the grated jaggery (or brown sugar) and mix well until it melts and forms a syrup-like consistency. Turn off the heat.

3. Add the roasted sesame seeds, cardamom powder, and chopped nuts (if using) to the jaggery syrup. Mix everything well until all the ingredients are combined evenly.

4. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, so it becomes easy to handle. Make sure it's still warm as it helps in shaping the ladoos.

5. Grease your palms with ghee and take a small portion of the mixture in your hand. Press and roll it tightly between your palms to form a round ladoo shape. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture.

6. Let the ladoos cool completely at room temperature. Once cooled, store them in an airtight container.

Your Sesame K Ladoos are ready to be enjoyed! They make a perfect snack or dessert for any festive occasion or as a sweet treat with your tea or coffee.
