No-Cheese White Pasta

No-Cheese White Pasta is a delicious pasta dish that is made without cheese, but still has a creamy and flavorful sauce. Here's a recipe to make it:

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (225g) pasta of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk (such as almond milk or soy milk)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent and the garlic is fragrant.

  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the vegetable broth, non-dairy milk, all-purpose flour, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and pepper until well combined and there are no lumps.

  4. Pour the mixture into the skillet with the sautéed garlic and onion. Stir well to combine. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and starts to bubble.

  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss well to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the pasta is heated through.

  6. Taste and adjust the seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.

  8. Serve the no-cheese white pasta immediately while it's still warm.

Enjoy your creamy and flavorful no-cheese white pasta! You can also customize the dish by adding sautéed vegetables, such as mushrooms, spinach, or cherry tomatoes, for extra flavor and nutrition.
