Mint curry syrup recipe

Here's a recipe for mint curry syrup:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup fresh mint leaves, packed

- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup water

- 1 teaspoon curry powder

Instructions:

1. Rinse the mint leaves thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel. Remove the stems and roughly chop the leaves.

2. In a saucepan, combine the sugar and water. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved completely.

3. Add the mint leaves to the saucepan and reduce the heat to low. Let the mixture simmer for about 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.

4. After 10 minutes, remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool slightly. Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the mint leaves.

5. Stir in the curry powder, ensuring it is evenly incorporated into the syrup. Taste the syrup and adjust the amount of curry powder according to your preference, adding more if desired.

6. Transfer the syrup to a glass jar or bottle with a tight-fitting lid. Allow it to cool completely before storing it in the refrigerator.

7. The mint curry syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. Use it as a unique and flavorful addition to cocktails, teas, or desserts. You can also drizzle it over fruit salads or use it to glaze roasted vegetables for an interesting twist.

Enjoy your homemade mint curry syrup!
