Milk vermicelli recipe






Sure! Here's a simple recipe for milk vermicelli:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup vermicelli noodles

- 4 cups milk

- 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

- 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

- A pinch of saffron strands

- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)

- A handful of mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pistachios), chopped

Instructions:

1. Heat ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add the vermicelli noodles and sauté until they turn golden brown. Make sure to stir continuously to prevent burning.

2. In a separate saucepan, bring the milk to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.

3. Add the roasted vermicelli noodles to the simmering milk and cook for another 8-10 minutes, or until the noodles are soft and cooked through.

4. Stir in the sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Remove the pan from heat and let the milk vermicelli cool slightly.

6. Garnish with chopped nuts and serve warm or chilled, according to your preference.
