Masala Tea

Masala tea is a delicious and aromatic tea that is popular in India and many other countries. It is made by adding a blend of spices to regular tea. Here's a simple recipe for making masala tea:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2-3 teaspoons loose tea leaves or 2-3 tea bags
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4-5 cloves
  • 2-3 cardamom pods, crushed
  • 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and grated
  • Sugar or honey, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, add water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, crushed cardamom pods, and grated ginger to the boiling water.
  3. Let the spices boil for a minute or two until the water is fragrant with the aroma of the spices.
  4. Add tea leaves or tea bags to the saucepan and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add milk to the saucepan and bring it to a boil.
  6. Add sugar or honey to taste.
  7. Strain the tea and serve it hot.

Your masala tea is ready to be enjoyed. You can adjust the amount of spices, milk, and sugar to suit your taste. Some people also like to add a pinch of black pepper or fennel seeds to the masala tea for an extra kick
