Lemon Pickle


 


Here's a simple recipe for making lemon pickle:


Ingredients:

  • 10-12 medium-sized lemons
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 cup oil



Instructions:

  1. Wash the lemons thoroughly and cut them into small pieces. Remove any seeds.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped lemons with salt, red chili powder, and turmeric powder. Mix well.

  3. Heat oil in a small pan and add fenugreek seeds and mustard seeds. Fry until the mustard seeds start to pop.

  4. Pour the oil mixture over the lemon mixture and mix well.

  5. Transfer the lemon pickle to a sterilized glass jar.

  6. Keep the jar in a warm and dry place for 3-4 days.

  7. After 3-4 days, the lemon pickle will be ready to eat. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to a month.

Enjoy your homemade lemon pickle as a side dish with your meals or as a condiment with sandwiches and burgers!
