Egg Fired Rice


       Egg Fried Rice is a popular Chinese dish that combines cooked rice, scrambled eggs, and various vegetables or proteins. It's a versatile and flavorful dish that can be enjoyed as a main course or a side dish. Here's a simple recipe to make Egg Fried Rice:


Ingredients:

  • 3 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old or cooled)

Instructions:

  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until they become fragrant and lightly browned.
  • Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for a few minutes until they are cooked but still crisp. You can adjust the cooking time based on the desired tenderness of the vegetables.
  • Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet, creating space for the eggs. Pour the beaten eggs into the empty space and scramble them until they are fully cooked.
