Date-Dry Fruit Ladoo Recipe

Sure! Here's a recipe for Date-Dry Fruit Ladoos:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup pitted dates

- 1 cup mixed dry fruits (such as almonds, cashews, pistachios, raisins)

- 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)

- 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

- 2 tablespoons desiccated coconut (optional, for coating)

Instructions:

1. In a food processor or blender, grind the pitted dates until they form a sticky paste-like consistency. Set aside.

2. Chop the mixed dry fruits into small pieces. You can also pulse them in a food processor for a few seconds to break them down slightly. Set aside.

3. Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped dry fruits and sauté them for a few minutes until they become slightly golden and aromatic. Remove from heat and let them cool.

4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground dates, sautéed dry fruits, cardamom powder, and mix well to form a sticky mixture.

5. Grease your palms with a little ghee. Take a small portion of the mixture and shape it into a round ball or ladoo. Repeat this process with the remaining mixture.

6. If desired, roll the prepared ladoos in desiccated coconut to coat them evenly.

7. Place the date-dry fruit ladoos on a plate and let them cool for about 10-15 minutes. This will help them set and firm up.

8. Once the ladoos have cooled completely, store them in an airtight container at room temperature. They can be stored for up to a week.

Enjoy your delicious Date-Dry Fruit Ladoos as a healthy snack or as a sweet treat!
