Berry Vada Recipe

Sure! Here's a recipe for Berry Vada:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/4 cup rice flour

- 1/2 cup mixed berries (such as blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

- 1/4 cup yogurt

- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

- Oil for frying

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, rice flour, baking soda, salt, and black pepper.

2. Add the yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix well to form a smooth batter. Add a little water if needed to achieve a thick, pancake-like consistency.

3. Gently fold in the mixed berries into the batter.

4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan or wok over medium heat.

5. Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the berry batter into the oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. You can fry a few vadas at a time, depending on the size of your pan.

6. Remove the fried vadas from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

7. Serve the Berry Vadas hot as a snack or breakfast dish. They can be enjoyed on their own or with chutney or ketchup.

Note: Be cautious while adding the berries to the batter, as they can release moisture and make the batter watery. Adjust the batter consistency by adding more flour if needed.

Enjoy your delicious Berry Vadas!
