Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 medium-sized onion (chopped)

  • 1 green chili (chopped)

  • 1 tomato (chopped)

  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder

  • 1/2 tsp asafoetida (hing)

  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Prepare the ingredients: Chop the onion, tomato, and green chili, and have all the spices ready.

  2. Heat oil or butter: In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of butter or oil over medium heat.

  3. Add cumin seeds and asafoetida: Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and a pinch of asafoetida (hing). Let the cumin seeds splutter for a few seconds.

  4. Cook the onions: Add chopped onions and sauté them until they become soft and slightly golden.

  5. Add green chili and tomatoes: Add chopped green chili and tomato to the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.

  6. Add spices: Now, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix everything well and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
