English Simpal Recipes

🍽️ Ingredients:

  • 4–5 Bombil (Bombay duck fish) – cleaned and sliced

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder

  • 1 tsp red chili powder

  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

  • Salt – to taste

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • ½ cup rice flour or semolina (for coating)

  • Oil – for shallow frying


👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Clean the Bombil fish and gently press them to flatten. Pat dry with a clean cloth or tissue.

  2. In a bowl, mix English Simpal Recipes turmeric, red chili powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and lemon juice.

  3. Apply this spice mixture evenly on all sides of the fish. Let it marinate for 10–15 minutes.

  4. Take rice flour (or semolina) in a plate and coat each marinated fish well on both sides.

  5. Heat oil in a pan. Once Hindi Simpal Recipes hot, place the fish gently and shallow fry on medium flame.

  6. Cook both sides until golden brown and crispy (around 3–4 minutes per side).

  7. Remove and place Marathi Simpale Recipes on a tissue paper to absorb excess oil.


🧄 Serving Suggestion:

Serve hot with lemon wedges, onion slices, and rice or bhakri.
