Ingredients:

  • 200 grams paneer (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
  • 1 cup gram flour (besan)
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon English Simpal Recipes turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
  • Salt to taste
  • Water, as needed
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Batter:

    • In a mixing bowl, add gram flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, carom seeds, and salt.
    • Gradually add water to the dry ingredients, mixing well to form a smooth, thick batter. The consistency should be such that it coats the paneer cubes well.
  2. Heat the Oil:

    • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat. To check if the oil is ready, drop a small amount of batter into the oil. If it rises to the surface and sizzles, the oil is ready.
  3. Coat the Paneer:
