English Simpal Recipes |
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Basmati rice
- 4 boiled eggs
- 1 large onion, finely sliced
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2-3 cloves
- 1-2 bay English Simpal Recipes leaves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2-3 green cardamoms
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 2 tablespoons oil or ghee
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- 4 cups water
Instructions:
Prepare the Rice:
- Rinse the Basmati Hindi Simpal Recipes rice thoroughly and soak it in water for about 20-30 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Boil the Eggs:
- Boil the eggs, peel them, and cut them into halves or quarters. Set aside.
Cook the Spices:
- Heat oil or ghee in a large pan or pot over medium heat.
- Add cumin seeds, cloves, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, and cardamoms. Sauté until they release their aroma.
Sauté Onions and Tomatoes:
- Add the finely sliced onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
- Add the Marathi Simpale Recipes ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate.
Add Spices:
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the soaked and drained rice to the pan and stir gently to coat the rice with the spices.
Cook the Pulao:
- Add 4 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed (about 15-20 minutes).
Add the Eggs:
- Once the rice is cooked, gently place the boiled egg halves or quarters on top of the rice.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder over the rice and eggs.
Garnish and Serve:
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with raita or any side dish of your choice.
