Egg Mayo Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons  English Simpal Recipes mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or your choice)
  • Butter or margarine (for spreading on bread)
  • Lettuce leaves or other salad greens (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Eggs:

    • Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water.
    • Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.
    • Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and let the eggs simmer for about 10 minutes.
    • Remove the eggs from the hot water and place them in a bowl of ice Hindi Simpal Recipes water to cool.
    • Once cool, peel the eggs and chop them into small pieces.
  2. Prepare the Egg Mixture:

    • In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped eggs with mayonnaise.
    • Add mustard if using, and mix well.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    • Stir in chopped chives or parsley if desired.
  3. Assemble the Sandwich:

    • Spread butter or margarine on one side of each bread slice.
    • Place a generous amount of the egg mayo mixture on one slice of bread.
    • Add lettuce or other salad greens if using.

  4. Serve:

    • Cut the sandwich diagonally or into halves.
    • Serve immediately, or wrap in plastic wrap and pack for lunch.

Tips:

  • Variations: You can add other ingredients to the egg mayo mixture, such as diced celery, onions, or pickles for extra crunch and flavor.
  • Toast the Bread: For a crispier sandwich, you can toast the bread slices before assembling.
