Ingredients:
- 200g chow mein noodles (or any Chinese egg noodles)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 cup sliced bell peppers (red and green)
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 cup sliced cabbage
- 2-3 green onions, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch (mixed with 2 tablespoons water)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the Noodles:
- Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions. English Simpal Recipes Drain and set aside.
Prepare the Vegetables:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Stir-fry the Vegetables:
- Add the carrots, bell peppers, and cabbage to the pan. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Add the bean sprouts and cook for another 2 minutes.
Add Noodles and Sauce:
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Pour this mixture over the noodles and vegetables.

Thicken the Sauce:
- Add the cornstarch-water mixture to the pan. Stir until the sauce thickens and coats the noodles and vegetables.
