Ingredients:
- 2 cups whole wheat flour (atta)
- Water, as needed
- Salt, to taste
- Ghee or oil, as English Simpal Recipes needed for cooking
- 2 eggs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green chili, finely chopped (optional)
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Dough:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and a pinch of salt.
- Gradually add water and knead to form a smooth and firm dough.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for about 15-20 minutes.
Prepare the Filling:
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper.
- Add finely Hindi Simpal Recipes chopped onion, green chili (if using), and fresh coriander leaves. Mix well.
Make the Parathas:
- Divide the rested dough into equal-sized balls (about the size of a lemon) and roll each ball into a small disc using a rolling pin.
- Place one rolled dough disc on a clean surface and spread a spoonful of ghee or oil over it.
- Place a portion of the egg mixture in the center of the disc.
- Fold the edges of the dough towards the center to cover the filling and form a square or round parcel.
- Gently roll out the stuffed dough into a paratha, taking care not to let the filling spill out. Aim for a thickness similar to a regular paratha.
Cook the Paratha:
- Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat and place the rolled paratha on it.
- Cook for about 1-2 minutes, or until bubbles start to appear on the surface.
- Flip the paratha and spread a little ghee or oil on this side.
- Cook until both sides are golden brown and cooked through, pressing lightly with a spatula to ensure even cooking.
Serve:

- Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or any chutney of your choice.
