Ingredients:
- 6 slices of white English Simpal Recipes bread (crusts removed)
- 2 cups blackcurrants
- 2 cups diced apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Butter, for greasing
Instructions:
Prepare the Filling:
- In a saucepan, combine the blackcurrants, diced apples, sugar, water, and lemon juice.
- Cook the mixture Hindi Simpale Recipes over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the fruits are soft and the sugar has dissolved. This usually takes about 10-15 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly.
Prepare the Bread:
- Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice of bread until it's thin and pliable.

Assemble the Charlottes:
- Line each greased Marathi Simpale Recipes ramekin with a slice of flattened bread, making sure to press the bread firmly against the sides and bottom of the dish.
- Spoon the cooked blackcurrant and apple mixture into each bread-lined ramekin, filling them to the top.
Top with Bread:
- Place another slice of flattened bread on top of each ramekin to cover the fruit mixture completely.
Bake:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the filled ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
- Remove the hot blackcurrant and apple charlottes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Carefully run a knife around the edges of each charlotte to loosen them from the ramekins, then invert them onto serving plates.
- Serve hot, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream on top.
