Ingredients:
- 1 cup sorghum English Simpal Recipes flour (jowar flour)
- 1/2 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Water, as needed
- Oil or ghee for frying
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sorghum flour, grated coconut, chopped onions, chopped coriander leaves, green chilies, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and salt.
- Gradually add Hindi Simpale Recipes water and knead the mixture into a soft dough. The dough should be firm enough to hold its shape.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or tava over medium heat.
- Take a small portion of the dough and pat it into a circular shape directly onto the skillet. You can use your fingers or a wet cloth to flatten the dough evenly.
- Make small holes in the thalipith with your fingers to ensure even cooking.
- Drizzle a little oil or ghee around the edges of the thalipith and cook until the bottom side turns golden brown.

- Repeat the process with the remaining dough, adding more oil or ghee to the skillet as needed.
- Serve the hot thalipith with yogurt, chutney, or pickle of your choice.
