English Simpal Recipes

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes English Simpal Recipes (3 large)
  • Oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Onion (1, finely chopped)
  • Green chilies (2, finely chopped)
  • Ginger-garlic paste (1 teaspoon)
  • Turmeric powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Red chili powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Garam masala powder (1/2 teaspoon)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Coriander leaves (a handful, finely chopped)
  • Bread slices (6-8, edges trimmed)
  • Water (for sealing)

Instructions:

  1. Boil Potatoes: Boil the Hindi Simpal Recipes potatoes until they are cooked through. Once boiled, peel them and mash them in a bowl. Keep aside.

  2. Prepare the Stuffing: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent. Add green chilies and ginger-garlic paste, and sauté for another minute. Then, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a minute.

  3. Mix with Potatoes: Add the mashed potatoes to the pan and mix well with the masala. Cook for a few minutes until everything is well combined. Finally, add chopped coriander leaves and mix again. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool down.

  4. Prepare Rolls: Take a Marathi Simpale Recipes slice of bread and flatten it using a rolling pin. Place a spoonful of the potato mixture in the center of the bread slice and roll it tightly. Seal the edges using water to ensure they stick together. Repeat the process with the remaining bread slices and potato mixture.

  5. Fry the Rolls: Heat oil in a pan for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the stuffed rolls into the oil and fry until they turn golden brown and crispy on all sides. Remove from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

  6. Serve: Serve the potato stuffed rolls hot with ketchup or any chutney of your choice.
