Stuffed Eggs Recipe

Stuffed eggs, also known as deviled eggs, are a classic appetizer that is simple to make and always a crowd-pleaser. Here's a recipe to make 12 stuffed eggs:

Ingredients:

- 6 large eggs

- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise

- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard

- 1 teaspoon white vinegar

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Paprika (optional)

Instructions:

1. Hard-boil the eggs: Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat, then remove from heat and cover for 10-12 minutes. Drain the hot water and transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for about 5 minutes.

2. Peel the eggs: Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface to crack the shell, then peel off the shell and rinse the eggs under cold water to remove any remaining bits of shell.

3. Cut the eggs: Cut each egg in half lengthwise with a sharp knife, and gently scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl. Arrange the egg whites on a plate.

4. Mix the filling: Mash the egg yolks with a fork until they are crumbly, then add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined and creamy.

5. Fill the eggs: Spoon or pipe the filling mixture back into the egg white halves, dividing it equally among them. You can use a spoon, a pastry bag, or a ziplock bag with a corner cut off to fill the eggs.

6. Chill and serve: Sprinkle the stuffed eggs with paprika if desired, then cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Enjoy your delicious stuffed eggs as a party appetizer or snack!

Optional variations: You can add chopped herbs, diced pickles, or crumbled bacon to the filling for extra flavor and texture. You can also experiment with different types of mustard or vinegar, or use sour cream instead of mayo for a tangy twist.
