Here's a simple recipe for Masala Noodles:
Ingredients:
- 2 packs of instant noodles
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, finely chopped
- 1 small green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 small red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Chopped coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions:
1. Boil the noodles according to the instructions on the packet, then drain and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they start to sizzle, add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
3. Add minced garlic, ginger paste, and chopped green chillies to the pan and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
5. Add chopped bell peppers, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
6. Add the boiled noodles to the pan and mix well with the masala.
7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
8. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
