Bread Kachori


 


Here's a recipe for bread kachori in English:

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of bread
  • 1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon grated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. Trim the edges of the bread slices and flatten them using a rolling pin.
  2. In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Once they crackle, add grated ginger and garlic and sauté for a minute.
  3. Add green peas and mashed potatoes to the pan and mix well.
  4. Add coriander powder, garam masala powder, and salt to taste. Mix everything together and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Take off the heat and let the mixture cool down.
  6. Take a bread slice and place 2 tablespoons of the potato-peas mixture in the center.
  7. Fold the bread to make a ball and seal the edges properly.
  8. Repeat this process for all the bread slices.
  9. Heat oil in a pan and deep-fry the bread kachoris until they turn golden brown.
  10. Serve hot with chutney or sauce of your choice.
